We are looking to fill the following roles at our store in Webster Groves.
Civil Alchemy is seeking talented students with an interest in fashion, design and product development in the St. Louis area to be part of our Spring 2019 Internship Program (January-May). Take advantage of on-the-job training, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to all many aspects of product development, and planning for an up and coming lifestyle brand.
The Intern will assist in:
Drawing out Design Specs using Adobe Suite
Maintaining a Highly Organize Log & Spreadsheet including all items being developed for the Brand
Stage incoming product samples (bedding, decorative pillows, throws and blankets etc.) for sample reviews (Gather Artwork, Pantones, etc.)
Maintaining a Calendar with all inbound delivery dates
Writing Product Descriptions (Material, Dimensions, Weight, Use, etc.)
Communicating with Vendors regarding modification, packaging, and shipping goods.
Buying, Planning, and Forecasting
Attend sample reviews, take notes, measure samples, summarize all comments and forward digitally to team.)
Prepare and attach accurate sample tags, draft emails prior to submitting item to licensor or retail buyer.
Organize and maintain development sample closet.
Assist with Swatch Library (attaching fabric spec forms to swatches, filing swatches in library.)
Executive Assistant to the COO
Must be a full or part-time student working towards a degree
Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours a week (two or three full days preferred)
Located in or around Saint Louis, Missouri.
Related major to desired department is a plus
Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite programs
Great attitude, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit
A willingness to learn and grow
